SYNOPSIS
This documentary shot at MAM Literacy Advance of Houston. This non profit organization has assisted and empowered adults to achieve personal goals and self-sufficiency through improved literacy, since 1964. They trained volunteers tutor to help deliver a variety of free programs in Houston.
Through this documentary I interviewed students and volunteers who were working and studying in this place.
Working on “Around the world” project, opened my eyes to see, many people are unaware of the struggles of these immigrants. I could see more privileged people who have never lived in another country & can't relate to the struggles of immigration.
